Paul currently serves as a professional scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates and has coached in the Montreal Expos farm system. Paul has authored three books and videos and is a columnist for Collegiate Baseball News. In 2001, Paul founded the American Sportsmanship Association. The ASA is a nationally recognized organization that helps parents and players promote fair play. For the last three years, Paul has operated the Yogi Berra Baseball School and conducts Youth Sportsmanship Programs at the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center. Some comments from the pros, Yogi Berra has said "Paul is a bright and impressive young man. I give him the highest recommendation".
